Did you know that...

... the soccer world championship 2006, known as the first High Definition TV broadcast, wasn't really the first?

The very first test in full HDTV format ever, was made in 1998 - by the German Dierks Studios, broadcasting the soccer world championship from the "Velodrome" Stadium in Marseille, France.
